Last year, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
What I saw was something special — people from across the region showing up, not just to taste chocolate, but to connect. Makers sharing their work, guests asking thoughtful questions, and a sense that something meaningful was starting to take shape.
That response stayed with me. It made one thing clear: this matters.
There’s something unique about the Pacific Northwest food community. It’s part of our DNA — we craft, we share, and we create meaningful experiences for the people around us. The Portland Craft Chocolate Festival is an extension of that spirit, and we’re excited to bring it back for 2026.
What’s New This Year
We’re building on that momentum in a big way.
For 2026, we’re expanding the footprint of the festival to make it more accessible, more engaging, and more dynamic for everyone involved. You’ll see:
- More than 40 exhibitors from across the craft chocolate and artisan food world
- Expanded educational panels focused on the business and future of craft chocolate
- A more interactive experience throughout the weekend
- The debut of our first annual chocolate contest—centered on the ultimate chocolate chip cookie, with categories for kids, home bakers, and professionals
- A Kids Explorer Series area, where younger guests can design their own chocolate bar wrapper
- And, of course, plenty of opportunities to taste, discover, and connect
Whether you’re new to craft chocolate or deeply embedded in the industry, there’s something here for you.
More Than a Festival
This isn’t just about chocolate.
It’s about connection — between makers and the public, between small businesses and new opportunities, and between people who care about quality, creativity, and craft.
We’re seeing Portland continue to grow as a hub for food and beverage innovation, and this festival is one way we can support and showcase that momentum.
From first tastes to meaningful conversations with makers and industry leaders, this is a space where ideas, flavors, and people come together.
